Having served many years as a local Peterborough accountant in public practice dealing with literally hundreds of different types of self employed business, partnerships and limited companies over a period in excess of three decades… I always feel a little uncomfortable, dare I say ‘shy’ in describing myself or my accountancy firm as ‘specialists’ or ‘experts’ in a specific area of accountancy or in dealing with a certain type of business. It seems to me that so many other trades and business’ declare themselves to be specialists, experts and professionals.
